What You’ll Be Doing
Month-End Mastery: Own the end-to-end month-end reporting for the group, including balance sheet reconciliations, journals, and variance analysis
Compliance Leadership: Lead external audits and ensure full compliance with accounting standards, including the preparation of high-quality financial statements.
Strategic Reporting: Prepare Board and Cashflow reporting for senior leaders, providing the insights needed for high-level decision-making.
Business Partnering: Support our Commercial and Operations teams with the financial intelligence they need to thrive.
Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement system and process improvements to drive efficiency through automation.
About You
You are an analytical professional with a strong commercial "acumen" who can translate complex data into actionable business insights. To be successful, you will have:
Qualifications: CA/CPA with 5+ years of experience in financial accounting (Retail industry experience is highly preferred).
Systems Expertise:Strong SAP experience (FI/CO preferred) is essential, alongside advanced Excel skills for analysing large datasets.
Soft Skills: Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills to partner effectively with FP&A, auditors, and senior leadership.
Mindset: A proactive problem-solver who embraces initiative and creativity.
