About the Role

Reporting to the Store Manager, this hands-on leadership role is your chance to help shape team culture, inspire performance, and bring the Harris Scarfe experience to life for every customer who walks through the door.

You’ll work closely with the Store Manager to support day-to-day operations while coaching and developing your team to deliver great results and even better service.

• Support the Store Manager to drive store performance in line with sales, service,
• Lead by example in customer service and team leadership
• Train, coach, and develop team members to build capability and confidence
• Assist with store compliance, visual merchandising,
• Stock processing and daily store operations (including stocktake)
• Foster a collaborative, supportive, and high-performing team culture
• Make every customer interaction a positive one – ensuring the customer perspective drives decisions

What We Are Looking For:

You’re a natural leader who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment and knows how to bring out the best in others. You love engaging with customers and team members alike and aren’t afraid to roll up your sleeves when it counts.

• Experience in a supervisory or management role (retail experience in Home or Apparel preferred)
• A people-first mindset and strong coaching skills
• Confident communication and excellent interpersonal skills
• A commitment to safe, efficient, and customer-focused store operations
• Strong visual merchandising skills and attention to detail
• The ability to juggle priorities and stay calm under pressure
• Basic computer literacy and admin confidence
