Harris Scarfe, part of Spotlight Retail Group is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Leading Hand to join our team at our state-of-the-art dark site. In this key role, you will lead and motivate a high-performing team to achieve operational targets while ensuring a safe and productive work environment

What You Will Be Doing

• Safety First: Champion a strong safety culture by actively identifying and mitigating hazards. Ensure compliance with all OH&S regulations and company policies.
• Operational Excellence: Oversee all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and dispatch. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency and accuracy.
• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of 10+ employees. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Customer Focus: Contribute to exceptional customer service by ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment.
• Compliance: Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and relevant legislation.

About You

• Proven experience in a warehouse/DC leadership role.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• A proactive and results-oriented approach with a strong focus on safety.
• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) is preferred
