Our dynamic eCommerce team at Spotlight Retail Group is seeking a talented and passionate eCommerce Content Specialist to join our team.

Reporting to the CRO UX Lead, you'll play a vital role in supporting the success of our online business by creating engaging and compelling content that drives customer engagement and sales.

What You Will Be Doing

• Content Creation & Management:
• Develop and maintain engaging and user-friendly content (customer-facing & internal) across all channels.
• Contribute to and maintain digital content style guides.
• Optimize content for search engines (SEO) including Title tags, Meta Descriptions, and Redirects.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather accurate information.
• Site Experience & Merchandising: Create and maintain promotional site components (banners, coupons) & ensure seamless transitions within the site.
• Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyse consumer behaviour using internal and external systems to provide insights based on data analysis and resolve identified errors and participate in query resolution.

About You

• Must have minimum 1+ year of experience in online retail or a similar role.
• Ecommerce Expertise: Strong understanding of online business principles, customer behaviour, and digital marketing best practices.
• Content Mastery: Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a focus on clear, concise, and engaging copy.
• Analytical & Data-Driven: Ability to analyse data, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
• Project Management: Proven ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
• Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Proactive & Results-Oriented: A proactive and results-driven approach with a strong desire to improve online performance and drive sales.
