About the Role:
As Assistant Store Manager, you’ll help lead the team and bring the Harris Scarfe experience to life – creating a warm, welcoming store environment and delivering on sales, service, and team culture.

  • Support the Store Manager across all areas of the business
  • Lead by example – setting high standards in service, safety, and presentation
  • Train, coach, and support your team to build skills and confidence
  • Oversee stock handling, merchandising, and compliance processes
  • Help drive strong results across departments
  • Support a collaborative and inclusive team culture
  • Make every customer interaction count – every day

 

What You'll Bring:
You’re a hands-on leader with a passion for retail and a genuine love of people. With strong communication and great attention to detail, you know how to get the best from your team – and keep the customer at the heart of everything you do.

  • Previous experience in leadership or supervisor roles with retail or hospitality.
  • A people-first mindset with strong coaching and team-building skills
  • Great communication and a calm, solutions-focused approach
  • Confidence in visual merchandising and store presentation
  • Organised and efficient, with strong admin and IT skills
  • Full availability including weekends, and full working rights in Australia
