What you'll do

  • Lead and mentor the financial accounting team
  • Delivery of the month-end reporting for the group, including all balance sheet reconciliations, adjustment journals and variance to forecast analysis
  • Manage the external audit and other compliance requirements, including oversight of the preparation of financial statements, compliance with accounting standards and preparation of supporting workpapers
  • Prepare cyclical and ad-hoc financial reports for senior leaders of the business
  • Assist the Commercial team in the completion of forecasts
  • Support Commercial and Operations team with financial information and reporting to support decision making
  • Assist the Financial Controller with cash flow management
  • Supporting continuous business processes and systems improvements

 

What you'll bring

  • CA or CPA qualified, with a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or a related field
  • Hands-on manager with demonstrated experience in finance management roles, with the ability to lead and drive outcomes across the organisation
  • Proven expertise in accounting standards, integrated IT systems, and advanced Excel/financial modelling skills, experience with SAP is highly desirable
  • Transformational leadership experience with proven success in leading teams through change and process improvement initiatives
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and can collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable plans
