Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will be responsible for:
Running day to day operations of store
Ensuring the achievement of sales, wages and shrinkage budgets
Get involved in the store stocktake process
Provide timely guidance and feedback to train and develop the team
Ensure the customer perspective is a driving force behind management decisions and store activities
Foster a collaborative, fun and results driven team environment
Developing team development plans to progress your teams retail careers
Liaise with relevant Support Office departments to take commercial control of your business
Recruit and Talent pipeline team members as required
About you:
This is an ideal position for a natural leader with exceptional customer service, sales and organisational skills. In addition to these qualities, you will also possess the following:
Big box leadership, leading teams of 20+
Experience in managing within a retail or hospitality environment
A commitment to workplace health and safety practices
Strong visual merchandising standards and attention to detail
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Well-developed interpersonal skills and influencing sales skills
Proven ability in mentoring and coaching abilities
Computer literacy
Be First Aid Qualified or be willing to be trained at the business expense
