We are looking for an allocator to join our Intimates department, a winning category within the market. 

Reporting to the Planner, this is an exciting opportunity for someone who loves working in a fast paced retail environment. The Allocation Analyst will be responsible for the planning and control of merchandise and assist in driving profitability through maintaining adequate levels of inventory in store. 

The Role:

The Allocator role works within a large, multi-departmental team and provides support to the Planner and Assistant Planner by allocating the right stock to appropriate stores at the right time.  Some of the duties will include;

  • Implement and manage the stock allocation and replenishment process to maximise sales return and sell through
  • Stock to sales ratio analysis and other sales trend analysis to ensure right stock is in right stores at right time
  • Work closely with suppliers, DC and supply chain to ensure timely delivery of product
  • Assist with weekly reporting
  • Provide assistance to the Planner with inventory management
  • Address store enquires regarding stocks/deliveries
  • Adhere to all relevant compliance standards

 About you:

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has experience within Inventory Management, Allocations, Replenishment, or Junior Merchandise Management.  The role requires some one organised and analytical with high accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Previous allocation experience in a fast paced environment (essential) of 1+ years 
  • Previous store retail experience to understand stock flow cycles and impacts (desirable)
  • Knowledge of the Planning process
  • Intermediate experience using Excel with strength in VLOOKUP and PivotTables 
  • Experience with SAP would be beneficial but not essential 
  • A love for analysing data and numbers
